Blast Rating & Explosion Proof

Blast Rating & Explosion Proof

Blast Rating & Explosion ProofIn some areas where gas treatment takes place, there will be explosion risks. If any explosion occurs the fire cell around the area must withstand the explosion and ensuing fire. To ensure these properties on the doors, they have been physically tested for explosion and then fire tested. These requirements have to be documented. Theoretical calculations for explosion properties can be accepted but the first test properties can only be defined by physical testing.
